In this session, we will explore neurodivergence and how one's neurodivergence may alter their experiences. Using real-life examples and experiences, participants will gain a first-person view of some of these roadblocks to accessibility, equity, and inclusion. We then will explore ways to handle or adapt environments, materials, and procedures with consideration to promote greater inclusivity for neurodivergent community members, and how, in doing so, the experience is enhanced for people of all neurotypes.
