Ron G. Leblanc has worked in the adaptive/assistive technology field in London, Ontario, Canada for more than 16 years. While working at Fanshawe College, Ron was instrumental in the creation of the Inclusive Technology Centre – a workspace filled with assistive technology that encouraged student to use and explore tools available to them. He also maintained the Accessibility Test Centre, ensuring students with disabilities had access to assistive technology during testing and exams.
Ron is currently the Assistive Technologist for Western University, where he supports the Accessible Learning Lab and provides training and assistance to students with documented disabilities. He thrives at the intersection of people and technology – creating solutions that remove barriers, and improve access. Ron has consistently worked to make technology more inclusive, efficient, and user-friendly.
